The 2022 Bay Area Runners Club St. Patrick’s Day Races presented by Jolt Credit Union will take place Sunday, March 20!

The 2022 event will be limited to 4,000 total participants with 2,900 combined registration spots available for the 8K Run, 5K Run and 5K Run events. The Irish Double will have 1,100 spots available.

Race registration prices are as follows*:

• 5K Run and 5K Walk - $25

• 8K Run - $25

• Irish Double** - $45

• Leprechaun Races - $8

• Virtual 5K Run and 5K Walk - $35

• Virtual 8K Run - $35

• Virtual Irish Double** - $55
  

  *RunSignup, the online registration system, charges an additional fee for registration

  **Irish Double registration cutoff is at midnight, March 10, 2022. No Irish Double registrations will be available after that.

This year’s race is planned as an on-site event in Downtown Bay City with a virtual option being offered for those unable to participate in the in-person event. We ask that participants please read the refund policy and waivers prior to registering.

Virtual participants will select a time (prior to midnight, March 25) and location of their choosing to run their races and may submit results beginning Sunday, March 20 at 2PM and ending Friday, March 25 at midnight. Virtual participant race packets (shirt, bib and medal) will be shipped to registration address on or before Friday March 25.

The BARC Fitness Expo presented by Covenant HealthCare will be held at Bay City Central High School on Saturday, March 19 from 10AM -2PM

The Leprechaun Races presented by LeBourdais Orthodontics (for the kids) will be held on the Bay City Central High School Track at 2PM on Saturday, March 19 - immediately following the Fitness Expo.

• 5K Run Start Time: 11:00AM Location: Near the intersection of Adams Street and Center Avenue*

• 5K Walk Start Time: 11:10AM Location: Near the intersection of Adams Street and Center Avenue*

  * The 5K Run and Walk will stage along Adams Street between Center Avenue and 7th Street. Walkers please stage behind the run group; closer to 7th Street

This year, Bay Area Runners Club has selected Midland County Habitat for Humanity, the Bay Veterans Foundation in Bay City and the Saginaw County Veterans Memorial Plaza Foundation as the primary recipients of charitable donations from this event.
